Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems for prototype robotics structures and mechanisms.
- Support prototype fabrication and assembly tooling design.
- Conduct performance testing and failure analysis, including building test fixtures and analyzing data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complete technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement improved designs.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering and Machine Design.
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience designing complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with prototyping manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience in tolerance analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with evolving priorities.
