Responsibilities
- Support early validation of products, subsystems, and components through prototyping.
- Facilitate validation builds and testing for product design teams.
- Integrate complex subsystems and enable rapid iteration in prototypes.
- Deliver high-quality prototypes for risk mitigation and design validation.
- Provide rapid feedback to resolve design challenges for wearables.
- Manage part acquisition, build planning, and execution for prototypes.
- Support verification and validation testing post-build, including functional tests.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in an engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
- 6+ years of industry experience in hardware prototyping or product development.
- Proven experience with prototype assembly and fixture design.
- Understanding of prototyping tools and best practices.
- Experience with wearables or consumer electronics prototyping preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in a cross-functional, time-sensitive environment.
