Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and manage simpler systems under technical guidance.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, and direct board layout.
- Manage bring up and debug, and support manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
- Transform vendor reference designs into custom solutions.
- Work in a distributed team environment.
- Contribute to recruitment and mentorship within the Meta community.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and technologies like digital signal processing.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; experience with high-speed signaling and consumer electronics.
