Responsibilities
- Interface with cross-functional teams including PD, ID, EE, and others.
- Design custom moving coil and MEMS speakers, optimizing for cost and performance.
- Present findings and recommendations based on virtual simulations and experimental measurements.
- Conduct multi-physic simulations of transducers and optimize sub-components.
- Benchmark and verify transducer performance using industry-standard tools.
- Facilitate factory test design and specifications for manufacturing partners.
- Evaluate and design new materials and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 6+ years of experience with micro-speakers and transducers.
- 3+ years of experience in cross-functional consumer hardware product development.
- Proficiency in failure analysis and data analysis.
- Preferred: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant fields and experience with COMSOL software.
