Responsibilities
- Act as the primary cross-functional interface with various teams (PD/ID/EE/GSM/TPM/EPM).
- Design custom moving coil and MEMS speakers, optimizing components for cost, acoustic performance, and reliability.
- Present findings from simulations and experiments to gain cross-functional and leadership buy-in.
- Conduct multi-physic simulations of transducers and optimize sub-components.
- Benchmark and verify transducer performance using industry-standard tools.
- Facilitate factory test design and specifications for transducers.
- Evaluate and design new materials and technologies for audio applications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience with micro-speakers and transducer design.
- 3+ years of experience working on consumer hardware products.
- Proficiency in failure analysis and data analysis.
- Experience with COMSOL and other simulation tools is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience in the development process and problem-solving.
