Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary cross-functional interface with various teams and audio developers.
- Design custom moving coil and MEMS speakers, optimizing components for performance.
- Present observations and recommendations based on simulations and measurements.
- Conduct simulations of transducers and optimize sub-components using specialized tools.
- Benchmark and verify transducer performance using industry-standard tools.
- Facilitate manufacturing partners' factory test design and specifications.
- Evaluate and design new materials and technologies for audio applications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant field.
- 6+ years of experience with micro-speakers and transducer design.
- 3+ years of cross-functional experience in consumer hardware products.
- Proficiency in failure analysis and data analysis.
- Preferred: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Acoustics or Physics and experience with COMSOL.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to address design issues.
- Experience in audio architectural design is a plus.
