Responsibilities
- Lead as a quality extended team member responsible for testing methods and equipment.
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment and procedures.
- Participate in risk management activities including system risk analysis and product risk assessments.
- Conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Recommend design or test methods for achieving required levels of product reliability.
- Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
- Propose changes in design to improve system and process reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2 years relevant experience, or PhD with 0 years relevant experience.
- Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Quality Engineering experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (ASQ-CQE, CQA, CBA) are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coach lower-level specialists.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior customers and stakeholders.
