Responsibilities
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities for efficiency.
- Specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to production conditions.
- Inspects performance of machinery and initiates corrective actions.
- Develops manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control.
- Ensures compliance with regulations in processes and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field plus 2 years experience OR Master's Degree with 0-2 years experience.
- Prior experience at a Medtronic manufacturing site (nice-to-have).
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries (nice-to-have).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance in manufacturing processes.
