Responsibilities
- Lead the design of high-efficiency DC power systems, including rectifiers, inverters, battery backup systems, and power distribution units (PDUs).
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles from requirements gathering to testing and commissioning.
- Analyze and optimize DC power systems for energy efficiency and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve complex power system issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with suppliers to select and qualify power components.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics and operational manuals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in DC power systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying DC power systems for data centers, telecom, or renewable energy applications.
- Proficiency in DC power system design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB, PSpice).
- Deep knowledge of power electronics, battery technologies, and energy storage systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
