Responsibilities
- Generate mechanical design concepts and feasibility studies for new projects.
- Conduct design reviews and contribute to discussions on design aspects.
- Perform engineering analysis in areas like wafer transfer methods and mechanism design.
- Design and implement custom mechanical tooling and processes.
- Create solid models, 2D drawings, and manage documentation.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Work hands-on in the engineering lab and manufacturing to support project installations.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design and material science.
- Experience in robotics, mechanisms, and vacuum technology.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, particularly CREO, and SAP.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in practical situations.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent.
- MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
