Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoots and repairs Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLCs.
- Performs maintenance as per established written procedures.
- Uses drawings, equipment manuals, and proper tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Documents performance in test forms and condition reports.
- Conducts high voltage switching and grounding distribution systems.
- Reads schematics and logic diagrams.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Electrician/Electrical Technician in the refining, chemical, or power industry.
- Experience with programmable logic control.
- Ability to read loop diagrams, logic diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with motor controls.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and inspections.
