Responsibilities
- Redesign existing products for manufacturability (DFM).
- Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for production issues.
- Plan, design, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes for new products.
- Collaborate with design engineers to identify critical features for quality and reliability.
- Determine necessary parts, equipment, and tools for manufacturing goals.
- Design tooling and fixtures for production and quality control.
- Develop assembly work instructions and manufacturing travelers.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
- US Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations.
- Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation.
- Knowledge of various fabrication/manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T - ASME Y14.5).
