Responsibilities
- Ideate and conceptualize new products or product lines.
- Design and develop functional and aesthetic aspects of new products.
- Conduct engineering analysis of components and assemblies.
- Test, qualify, and certify new product designs.
- Identify critical-to-function features and methods to ensure quality and reliability.
- Determine necessary parts, equipment, and tools for manufacturing goals.
- Redesign existing products for manufacturability and assist R&D in new designs.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
- US Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations.
- Experience in new product design, development, and launch.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation.
- Knowledge of fabrication/manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T - ASME Y14.5).
