Responsibilities
- Design custom power electronics hardware that enables key functions of the Linear Generator.
- Bring-up, validate, and qualify power electronics designs.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware issues in various environments.
- Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to enhance designs.
- Partner with reliability engineers to improve hardware reliability.
- Serve as an expert on owned hardware systems.
- Communicate effectively across teams and personalities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in power electronics development.
- Strong electronics design fundamentals and schematic production skills.
- Experience in circuit board design and power electronics control theory.
- Proficiency with electrical engineering tools (e.g., oscilloscopes).
- Ability to work independently on design projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
