Responsibilities
- Design critical electrical systems for the linear generator.
- Work on subsystems including batteries, inverters, and power distribution.
- Become an expert on the linear generator's electrical system.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level problems.
- Define electrical system requirements and allocate them to subsystems.
- Analyze trade-offs between subsystems and lead verification plan development.
- Collaborate with project teams and provide technical leadership.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing electrical systems.
- Ability to work on a variety of assignments.
- Expertise in both system-level and low-level electrical designs.
- Experience leading project teams and defining system level requirements.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with the hardware development life cycle and volume manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in a startup or rapid development environment is advantageous.
