Responsibilities
- Lead the selection, sizing, and configuration of industrial grid-interactive off-the-shelf (OTS) inverters.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of complex hardware issues.
- Configure and tune inverter parameters for stable operation in various modes.
- Design system-level tests to validate grid-edge behaviors.
- Analyze AC power waveforms and power quality to diagnose issues.
- Ensure compliance with grid interconnection standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams to ensure system performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with power inverters or conversion systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with AC power systems.
- Comfort working on high voltage systems in lab and field environments.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols for power electronics.
- Working knowledge of NEC regarding power generation systems.
- Ability to independently manage complex technical problems.
