Responsibilities
- Design custom power electronics hardware for the Linear Generator.
- Bring-up, validate, and qualify power electronics designs.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware issues in lab, production, and field settings.
- Collaborate with teams for manufacturability and testability improvements.
- Partner with reliability engineers to enhance hardware reliability.
- Serve as an expert on owned hardware systems.
- Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
- 2-5 years of experience in power electronics technologies.
- Strong electronics design fundamentals and circuit board design experience.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and power converter modeling tools.
- Knowledge of power electronics control theory and EE tools.
- Proven ability to work independently on electronics design projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
