Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct materials across various vehicle platforms.
- Lead strategic supplier relationship management programs to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
- Manage the supplier base through the full product lifecycle, ensuring adequate capacity and supply continuity.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing events and negotiate contracts with global manufacturing partners.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Finance on supply chain topics.
- Identify and escalate supply risks, maintaining issue logs and resolution plans.
- Support executive reporting with actionable supply chain updates.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in direct materials procurement or supply chain management in hardware environments.
- Experience managing physical product categories, preferably in consumer electronics or e-mobility.
- Knowledge of APAC supplier ecosystems and manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in leading complex commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of BOM cost structures and cost reduction methodologies.
- Proficiency with procurement and supply chain tools and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
