Responsibilities
- Contribute to product features, design, and vision for power electronic systems.
- Design detailed power electronic systems, including DC/DC converters and inverters.
- Create verification and validation test plans for components and systems.
- Conduct system testing to validate functionality and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware engineering teams.
- Manage the power conversion system lifecycle from specification to manufacturing.
- Utilize lab skills for power conversion testing and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum B.S. student in Electrical Engineering; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Understanding of component losses in power conversion systems.
- Experience in designing high-efficiency power converters.
- Familiarity with various power converter topologies.
- Knowledge of sensor design for real-time parameter measurement.
- Skills in EMC design and PCB layout optimization.
- Strong lab skills with tools for power conversion testing.
