Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to refine product impact and market readiness.
- Brainstorm and evaluate new design solutions.
- Test ideas and designs through calculations and simulations.
- Design high-performance, manufacturable parts and assemblies.
- Create drawings and specifications for parts.
- Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
- Communicate with part manufacturers to support prototypes and production.
Job Requirements
- Experience in Mechanical Design and 3D Modeling software (e.g., Onshape, NX, Solidworks).
- Knowledge of 2D Drawing creation and tolerancing (GD&T experience preferred).
- Basic skills in design analysis (Statics, Finite Element Analysis, Tolerance Analysis).
- Prototyping skills (3D printing, machining, etc.).
- Ability to manage supplier communications effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to generate detailed design documentation and provide feedback.
