Responsibilities
- Analyze spending patterns for savings opportunities and become a subject matter expert.
- Manage supplier relationships and act as the primary business contact for key suppliers.
- Create RFQs/SOWs, review quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, including pricing and lead times, in collaboration with the Legal team.
- Oversee supplier development timelines and resolve issues that arise.
- Drive cost optimization through supply chain consolidation and negotiations.
- Monitor industry conditions and track technology roadmaps for sourcing strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- 2-5 years of experience in commodity management, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Experience sourcing components such as semiconductors or electromechanicals.
- Proven ability to negotiate and execute complex legal agreements.
- Experience working with engineering teams on technology roadmaps and sourcing strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and create business intelligence tools.
- Strong presentation skills for complex technology and business objectives.
