Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs, analyze quotations, and provide sourcing recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts, including pricing and tooling costs.
- Manage supplier development, tooling timelines, and part availability for production.
- Maintain supplier relationships and act as the point of contact for commercial issues.
- Mentor and lead Global Supply Managers and Senior Global Supply Managers.
- Develop strategies at the commodity level and address escalations effectively.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in a technical, supply chain, or finance discipline, or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Program Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering related to Mechanical or Electrical components.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality principles.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with organizational capabilities.
- Ability to creatively mitigate unforeseen problems and maintain supplier relationships.
