Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and analyze supplier quotations to make sourcing recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts including pricing and tooling costs.
- Manage supplier development timelines and part availability for production.
- Maintain supplier relationships and act as the main contact for commercial issues.
- Mentor and lead other Global Supply Managers and handle escalations.
- Develop commodity-level strategies for the company.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in a technical, supply chain, or finance discipline, or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Program Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality principles.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems.
- Ability to creatively mitigate unforeseen problems.
