Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and analyze quotations from suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts including pricing and tooling costs.
- Manage supplier development and tooling timelines.
- Maintain supplier relationships and act as a point of contact for commercial issues.
- Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers for business and program reviews.
- Define and execute sourcing strategies aligned with production ramps and new product introductions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Project Management.
- Knowledge of sourcing electronic components and charging systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical distribution systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes effectively.
