Responsibilities
- Plan and author procedures for disassembly of the Orion Spacecraft post-flight.
- Provide floor support during mechanical, electrical, and thermal protection system disassembly.
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and engineering drawings.
- Write reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with technician personnel in a shop floor environment.
- Handle non-conformance issues and dispositions.
- Familiarize with flight hardware tools and ground support equipment (GSE).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CreoParametric, CreoView, EdgeCAM, or Delmia.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work off-schedule assignments as required.
- Must be a US Citizen due to special access requirements.
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
