Responsibilities
- Create and develop mechanical manufacturing work instructions.
- Determine the sequence of build and select or design required tools.
- Solve production problems during the build of mechanical piece parts and assemblies.
- Investigate design/manufacturing factors such as equipment or part availability.
- Develop and maintain all assembly documentation.
- Troubleshoot and correct anomalies and discrepant hardware.
- Perform producibility reviews on engineering designs/drawings.
Job Requirements
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing processes and work instruction development.
- Ability to assess manufacturability, ease of assembly, and material availability.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with program personnel.
- Ability to work a Sunday through Thursday schedule.
- Familiarity with large assembly management.
- Knowledge of engineering design reviews.
