Responsibilities
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- Fabricate and assemble test equipment, tools, and fixtures according to designs.
- Fabricate chassis, racks, and cables per engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify, define, and solve problems.
- Pay strong attention to detail and read engineering drawings.
- Use common electrical/fabrication tools for tasks.
- Build test racks and route cables or wires for installation.
Job Requirements
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical fabrication, assembly, and test tools/processes.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience building chassis/box assemblies.
- Experience with routing wires in chassis.
- Familiarity with common electrical tools for fabricating cables.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
