Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements from various sources to ensure proper integration into designs.
- Collaborate with peers and manufacturing to meet program requirements and schedules.
- Release accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Perform engineering liaison activities during hardware fabrication and procurement.
- Provide technical assistance to suppliers and support assembly, integration, and testing activities.
- Travel as needed to support vendors and projects.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling in PTC CREO.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Background in Mechanical Engineering processes.
- Willingness to travel and ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
- Familiarity with industrial standards and federal regulations (ANSI, OSHA, AWS).
- Experience with manufacturing processes.
