Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a team environment to develop mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements from multiple sources to ensure they are incorporated into the detailed design.
- Work with peers and manufacturing to meet program requirements and schedules.
- Contribute to program achievements by releasing accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Perform engineering liaison activities during hardware fabrication and procurement.
- Provide technical assistance to suppliers and support assembly, integration, and testing activities.
- Travel as needed to support vendors and projects.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling in PTC CREO.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering processes.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
