Responsibilities
- Perform detailed thermal design and analysis on spacecraft components and systems.
- Provide technical memos and recommendations for peer and customer reviews.
- Present design and analysis data to engineering teams and customers.
- Review and implement program requirements.
- Provide test support for thermal tests at both component and system levels.
- Engage with a team to learn and develop skills.
- Communicate technical information effectively in written and verbal formats.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of thermal analysis methods (heat transfer, thermodynamics).
- Experience with numerical solution tools (e.g., Thermal Desktop, SINDA).
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in thermal analysis of space structures.
- Experience with engineering programming (e.g., Matlab).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
