Responsibilities
- Select materials and processes for new designs to support national defense.
- Perform technical engineering assignments related to materials and processes.
- Troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions to problems.
- Participate in the selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of materials.
- Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines such as Design Engineering and Quality Engineering.
- Evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of materials and process engineering disciplines.
- Experience or coursework related to materials or processes.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
- Familiarity with aerospace materials and processes.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
