Responsibilities
- Plans and authors procedures for the Orion Spacecraft Elements Team.
- Provides floor support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Creates and develops harness installation, instrumentation/sensor installation, thermal prep integration, and component integration work instructions.
- Reviews and provides feedback on engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Troubleshoots and corrects anomalies with discrepant hardware.
- Interfaces with program personnel and reports project status to leadership.
- Mentors lower-level engineers and supports training and onboarding efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of production manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Experience with Engineering Change Management and SAP or similar ERP/MES software.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Creo Parametric.
- Experience with harness routing/assembly and electrical components installations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
