Responsibilities
- Define and lead Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture, and test.
- Define and lead the strategic approach to selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of EEE Parts.
- Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, specifications, and supplier evaluations.
- Coordinate with disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain.
- Work on electrical components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, and more.
- Travel and collaborate with suppliers and government agencies to ensure compliance with quality expectations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of related professional work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, and materials of EEE parts.
- Experience in failure analysis and root cause corrective action for EEE parts.
- Familiarity with military specifications and engineering requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience leading major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR.
