Responsibilities
- Participate in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture, and test.
- Participate in the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEE Parts.
- Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, specifications, and supplier evaluations.
- Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organizations.
- Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), and more.
- Travel and collaborate with suppliers and government agencies to meet quality and performance requirements.
- Evaluate new and innovative technologies for use in harsh environments and critical systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
- 1+ years of related professional work experience.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with military specifications and engineering requirements.
- Basic understanding of Nuclear effects on EEE parts and experience with Survivability Engineers.
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis related to EEE parts.
- Active or Current Secret clearance or higher.
