Responsibilities
- Participate in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture, and test.
- Participate in the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEE Parts.
- Prepare technical and progress reports, specifications, and analyze test reports.
- Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organizations.
- Work on electrical components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, and integrated circuits.
- Travel and collaborate with suppliers and government agencies to ensure component quality and performance.
- Evaluate new technologies for EEE parts in complex design packages.
Job Requirements
- Experience and/or knowledge in the design and analysis of electrical parts and circuits.
- Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials, and processes used in EEE parts.
- Willingness to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with military specifications and engineering requirements.
- Basic understanding of Nuclear effects on EEE parts.
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis related to EEE parts.
