Responsibilities
- Assist with research, development, testing, and design of surface treatments.
- Participate in pilot plant activities for new product testing.
- Collaborate with production and testing staff on product evaluation and validation.
- Evaluate advanced surface treatment solutions for technical and economic performance.
- Develop test methods and plans for surface treatment evaluations.
- Maintain and operate R&D lab equipment and software.
- Comply with all safety regulations and training requirements.
Job Requirements
- Senior status towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Basic knowledge of Metallurgy.
- Understanding of metal finishing processes such as cleaning and plating.
- Knowledge of aircraft or fastener coatings is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Competency in statistics and advanced calculus.
- Proficient with software for spreadsheets, presentations, and project planning.
