Responsibilities
- Design and engineer components for robotics and lab automation workcells.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CAD design and analysis.
- Create and test engineered solutions using 3D printing and fabrication methods.
- Support assembly and build processes under senior engineers' guidance.
- Take ownership of project tasks from specification to delivery.
- Engage with experimental scientists and AI/ML researchers.
- Maintain a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD design or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams or stakeholders.
- Curiosity about automation in life and physical sciences.
- Bonus points for knowledge of GD&T and experience with fabrication techniques.
- Previous internship/co-op experience in relevant fields is a plus.
