Responsibilities
- Participate in electro-optic testing of photonics chips/devices.
- Conduct tests and characterization of silicon photonics components.
- Operate a range of optical equipment such as lasers and modulators.
- Utilize semiconductor test equipment for performance analysis.
- Design and execute testing protocols for silicon photonics chips.
- Develop and implement automated testing using Python scripting.
- Solve complex technical problems independently in a lab environment.
Job Requirements
- PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Silicon Photonics and electro-optic testing experience.
- Experience with automated testing systems and Python scripting.
- Highly analytical and process-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a graduate-level photonics or electrical engineering lab is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team.
