Responsibilities
- Participate in electro-optic testing of photonics chips/devices.
- Conduct tests and characterization of silicon photonics components.
- Operate a range of optical equipment and semiconductor test equipment.
- Design and execute testing protocols for silicon photonics chips.
- Develop and implement automated testing and system interfacing using Python.
- Solve complex technical problems independently.
- Translate data into actionable strategies.
Job Requirements
- Recent PhD graduate or PhD candidate in Photonics or related field.
- Strong understanding of Silicon Photonics and electro-optic component testing.
- Experience in developing automated testing systems with Python.
- Highly analytical and process-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a lab environment.
- Preferred experience with microcontroller programming and high-speed instruments.
