Responsibilities
- Learn the Analog Design Flow at Lightmatter
- Learn industry standards using Cadence Virtuoso to support Analog objectives
- Participate in the design of highly integrated photonics chip
- Run post-layout and mixed-signal top-level simulations to validate integration
- Be involved with 3D integration methodology development
- Validate performances of the circuits in the lab
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate engineering program, preferably in ECE, EE, or Computer Engineering
- Interest in Analog/Mixed-signal IC design
- Exposure/Understanding of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs
- Exposure to designing analog blocks such as comparator, op-amp, reference/bias generation, switched-cap, and data converters
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso is preferred
- Exposure with AMS simulation or modeling using Verilog-A, Matlab, or Python is a plus
