Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of thermal system components for advanced power plant systems.
- Conduct thermal-fluid analysis for complex flows using CFD models and system-level codes.
- Develop and validate CFD and thermal-hydraulic models for reactor components.
- Design and optimize thermal components such as heat exchangers and piping networks.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Nuclear, and Systems Engineers for integrated designs.
- Perform structural and thermal analyses using simulation tools (FEA, CFD).
- Drive projects from concept to design verification in a startup environment.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Thermofluids Engineer or similar role in power plants or industrial systems.
- Proficiency in CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM).
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Ability to perform multiscale analyses of heat transfer.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to work in a startup culture focused on speed and innovation.
