Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical design, analysis, evaluation, and performance of Mechatronics products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications and evaluate performance.
- Utilize rapid prototyping for design iteration.
- Spend time hands-on in the Mechatronics lab with products.
- Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturability of parts.
- Drive technical innovation and file invention disclosures.
- Develop test criteria and equipment for automated testing and support transition to high volume manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience; Master’s degree or 3 years industry experience for level 2.
- Strong design background and engineering skills.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (CREO, NX, etc.) and FEA applications.
- Experience with designing test stands and data acquisition.
- Familiarity with machining practices and rapid prototyping methods.
- Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
