Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical design, analysis, and evaluation of Robotics and Mechatronics products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications and evaluate performance.
- Utilize rapid prototyping for design iterations and hands-on work in the Mechatronics lab.
- Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturability of parts.
- Drive technical innovation and file invention disclosures.
- Develop test criteria and equipment for automated testing.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement continual improvement processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree or 3 years of industry experience for level 2.
- Strong design background and knowledge of 3D CAD tools (e.g., CREO, NX).
- Proven analytical skills with FEA applications (e.g., Creo Simulation, COMSOL).
- Experience in designing test stands and conducting hands-on testing.
- Familiarity with machining practices, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
