Responsibilities
- Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
- Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems
- Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes
- Interface with engineering to coordinate the release of new products
- Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards
- Make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
- Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
Job Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD and/or Pro-E, Six Sigma, technical writing, MS Project and/or MS SharePoint
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
