Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze critical reports, including Reliability Analyses and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA).
- Collaborate with design, components, and quality engineering teams to identify requirements and drive corrective actions.
- Manage aircraft safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle and participate in design reviews.
- Facilitate risk assessments for new products and problem reports, generating comprehensive reports.
- Utilize expertise in industry standards and reliability testing methods to guide development.
- Support Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS) and contribute to field reliability tracking.
- Maintain communication with customer counterparts and program managers throughout the development process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Aerospace Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Safety & Reliability Engineering.
- Experience with Safety & Reliability software such as PTC Windchill/Windchill Risk & Reliability.
- Expertise in aerospace equipment certification processes and proficiency with fault tree analysis tools.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and experience with Systems Engineering and requirements capture software.
- Knowledge of cyber security protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined team environment.
