Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quality Engineering team supporting product development, production, and supplier quality.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D, FAA, DoD, and other applicable standards.
- Establish departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives; monitor and report performance.
- Champion the company’s Quality Policy and drive adoption of root cause analysis tools.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system.
- Collaborate with teams to reduce warranty costs and improve product reliability.
- Prepare and present quality performance updates to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality capacity, preferably in aerospace.
- Over 3 years of experience in a Quality leadership role.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE) are a plus.
- Proficient in structured problem-solving methodologies and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Committed to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
