Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quality Engineering team supporting product development, production, and supplier quality.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D and other aerospace standards.
- Establish departmental goals and metrics aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive adoption of root cause analysis tools and statistical methods.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and repair station teams to improve product reliability.
- Prepare and present quality performance updates to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality capacity within the aerospace industry.
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality leadership role.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE) are a plus.
- Proficient in structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including ITAR and CMMC preferred.
