Responsibilities
- Identify and characterize cost savings and productivity opportunities; scope project resources and timelines to determine, plan, and implement solutions.
- Plan and improve production methods including production flow, tooling, manufacturing methods, documentation, and equipment.
- Propose, plan, and implement process improvements through automation and new technologies.
- Develop methods, operational sequences, equipment, layouts, and tooling for manufacturing components and products.
- Modify existing manufacturing systems and processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to production personnel.
- Participate in failure analyses and root cause-corrective actions for process failures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 3-7 years relevant experience.
- Proven problem-solving expertise through various methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CAD programs like Creo or SolidWorks.
- Ability to work on-site and in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management experience is a plus.
