Responsibilities
- Develop and simulate analog and digital circuits to meet defined electrical requirements.
- Independently perform validation testing on engineering prototypes and record results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues using root cause analysis techniques.
- Create and manage design documentation, including schematics and layout notes.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to define electrical interfaces.
- Support agency compliance testing (e.g., UL, FCC) by preparing documentation and samples.
- Analyze field failures or customer returns and recommend corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- One (1) to three (3) years of direct electrical work experience.
- Strong technical, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in the design of hand-held electronic products preferred.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit design principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical analyses effectively.
