Responsibilities
- Lead schematic capture, circuit simulations, and part selection for new designs.
- Develop advanced analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit blocks for products.
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis on complex hardware failures or field issues.
- Define system-level electrical specifications in collaboration with systems engineering.
- Lead cross-functional design reviews and resolve open technical issues.
- Oversee layout and routing to ensure performance, thermal, and EMI compliance.
- Establish verification plans and ensure full test coverage for design validation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of direct electrical work experience.
- Strong technical, analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in the design of hand-held electronic products and rechargeable battery systems preferred.
- Proven experience designing circuits and analyzing test data.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to function in an environment of changing priorities and under time constraints.
