Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction, analysis, and detailed design of components for advanced emissions programs.
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for powertrains and engines.
- Lead packaging studies between engines and vehicle platforms.
- Develop vehicle impact analysis reports and resolve open issues.
- Organize and lead meetings with engine suppliers and internal engineering teams.
- Provide guidance to engine suppliers on necessary revisions for integration.
- Utilize Creo/Pro-E for creating optimized assemblies.
Job Requirements
- 1-3+ years of industry experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; EIT or PE is a plus.
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric or similar solid modeling software.
- Familiarity with project management methods and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and work collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new engineering processes.
- Background in design specification for heavy-duty trucks or engine development is a plus.
