Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Develop innovative manufacturing systems for large spacecraft assemblies.
- Create custom tools and processes to support manufacturing technologies.
- Demonstrate advanced manufacturing techniques on prototypes.
- Develop subassembly build flow and implement it in production.
- Partner with advanced manufacturing engineers for R&D of novel technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or relevant engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in integration/test/automation engineering roles.
- Experience working with technicians and build tooling.
- Experience setting up a manufacturing/production floor for first article builds.
- Nice to have experience with avionics subassembly manufacturing and aerospace standards.
- Ability to work in a high volume, rapid production environment.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
