Responsibilities
- Design and draft using CATIA V5 or similar software.
- Create and manage specifications, CAD models, drawings, and BOMs within a PLM database.
- Ensure compliance with established drafting standards such as ASME Y14.5.
- Assure designs are functional, safe, reliable, serviceable, manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant.
- Create layouts of product designs and perform tolerance reviews.
- Participate in design presentations and reviews.
- Develop and monitor prototype creation and testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Ability to function in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication skills for design solutions.
- Willingness to travel domestically and overseas occasionally.
- Experience with CAD software and PLM systems.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and drafting standards.
