Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Test Engineers in test preparation, execution, and reporting.
- Assist in designing, assembling, and preparing test rigs for execution.
- Design and analyze mechanical test and support equipment using CAD tools.
- Design and analyze electrical/electronic test and support equipment using computer-based tools.
- Generate engineering drawings and support equipment fabrication.
- Manage small projects from conception to completion.
- Provide hands-on support for various testing projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Current juniors or above (entering senior year in fall of 2025).
- Ability to work for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and onsite.
- Experience or coursework in Mechanical or Aerospace Design, Electro-Mechanical Systems, Thermal Systems, or Electrical/Power Engineering.
- Knowledge of design practices, materials, and basic analysis.
- Prior relevant intern or co-op experience is desired.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and ability to learn effectively.
