Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Quality Lead to align with company goals.
- Leads the Quality Engineering team to ensure compliance with Quality Systems and FAA regulations.
- Alerts the organization to potential issues and coordinates resolutions.
- Develops a team of Quality Engineers to create effective quality processes.
- Works closely with Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Metrology, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Leads the Material Review Board.
- Implements quality engineering systems to support product life cycle and prevent defects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Understanding of FAA Regulations and quality certifications (desired).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
