Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Quality Lead on strategic company goals.
- Leads the Quality Engineering team to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Alerts the organization to potential issues and coordinates resolutions.
- Develops quality engineering processes and supports strategic projects.
- Works with Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Metrology, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Leads the Material Review Board.
- Ensures implementation of quality systems throughout the product life cycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Understanding of FAA Regulations and various quality standards (AS9100, ISO9001).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
