Responsibilities
- Own the RFQ and vendor selection process for manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Lead price negotiations to achieve optimal total cost of ownership for capital equipment.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CapEx sourcing strategy aligned with production objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs and conduct business reviews.
- Participate in equipment scoping, design reviews, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing CapEx and tooling procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing process documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office for cost modeling and analysis.
- Experience in fast-paced environments with multiple project management.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and commercial stakeholders.
