Responsibilities
- Participate in all design stages of electrical connector development projects.
- Interpret customer design input requirements and develop project scope.
- Engage in early-stage concept development and create preliminary 3D CAD models.
- Present design concepts during Preliminary Design Reviews.
- Finalize 3D CAD models and generate 2D CAD drawings of designs.
- Collaborate with procurement to select vendors and procure prototypes.
- Create Design Validation Test Plans and assist in testing setups.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical design principles.
- Familiarity with materials such as metals, plastics, and rubber is helpful.
- Experience with CAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must continue enrollment in degree program post-internship.
- U.S. person status required due to ITAR regulations.
- Good standing in academic program.
